Spend your first week in daily master classes with University of Toronto’s Doug Stewart, Principal Flute of the Canadian Opera Company. You’ll also work with emerging composers creating new music for one to four flutes as part of LAMP’s 3rd annual Composition Academy, under the direction of Robert Aitken. Week two will focus on advanced studies in 20th and 21st century flute repertoire with the legendary Aitken, a regular faculty member at LAMP.
